Katelyn Hunter, MA, LMHCA specializes in working with children and young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief, trauma, and low self-esteem. She believes that it is vital to include the parents in the therapy process in order to join together to support the child. She graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, with a special focus on children and adolescents. Her areas of expertise include anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety, panic, and OCD, as well as sexual trauma. She is open to incorporating faith into therapy sessions and believes that it can play a powerful role in healing and hope for the future. In addition, Katelyn enjoys incorporating humor, art, and play therapy techniques to engage with the client and make therapy fun! She is in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:00 pm- 8:00 pm.
