Lisa Franklin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician who specializes in helping children, adolescents and families. Lisa has specialized training in behavioral interventions for children and adolescents, and trauma. Areas of expertise include, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral interventions, parent/child conflict and adjustment issues.
As a former Elementary Education teacher, Lisa is known for her ability to identify behavioral issues, create specialized plans in the home and work with the school to lessen the intensity of behavioral outbursts. Lisa uses her training and expertise to help individuals and families restore balance in their lives. Lisa believes in helping families find the right tools to restore peace in their home, and knows complete healing only comes through Jesus Christ.
Lisa offers workshops to schools, educators, pastors and parents on behavioral issues, anxiety, trauma, and self-harm. For a reasonable fee, Lisa will conduct a 30 minute to 1 hour workshop. Lisa engages audiences by using her sense of humor, knowledge and expertise to cover the importance of working with children and teens wrestling with these issues. Lisa has a workshop designed especially for pastors and parents to help them answer the questions about homosexuality and the Bible, specifically when children or students open up about their homosexual attractions.
